During our Symposium in Orlando, the Board of Directors announced the launch of a new scholarship. The Ed Harper Instructor Development Scholarship supports eligible members in becoming certified SCUBA Instructors and ultimately pursuing Professional Membership in ADPA. As the ADPA’s longest-standing Gold Corporate Partner, Oceanears has proudly supported zoo and aquarium dive program administrators for more than a decade. Ed Harper, founder and owner of Oceanears, and his family deeply believe in the mission of ADPA, and in celebration of their ten years of partnership, have provided funding to establish this new scholarship. The reimbursement-based scholarship provides up to $2,500.00 for qualifying expenses related to a single SCUBA Instructor course.
