Problem Summary:
Are you losing or misplacing tiny parts in your ultrasonic cleaner during equipment service? Are little parts falling through your ultrasonic cleaner baskets? Do you service large batches of equipment at a time? Then this is the solution for you! Tiny parts like HP spools, springs, washers, bushings, ball bearings, and orifices, among others, tend to disappear in the ultrasonic cleaner or can be hard to keep track of when cleaning multiple sets of equipment at the same time.
Solution Summary:
Running between $4 and $ 7 per piece, clam-shell tea strainers are a cost-effective solution for keeping small parts together and organized throughout the cleaning process. They can be labeled with colored electrical tape to differentiate parts from different regulators, they can be transferred from ultrasonic cleaner to freshwater rinse, and you can dry the parts inside by blowing air through the strainer. They are a staple of my workbench.
