The ADPA Board is happy to announce a new International Scholarship to the ADPA Membership. This scholarship is a joint project with one of our Founders, Jim Hart, who is generously supporting this new opportunity.
Key points of the scholarship:
- Applicants must meet all standard membership eligibility requirements.
- Applicant cannot be a current or former member of the ADPA.
- Institution must be outside of the USA. Those in US territories (such as: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands) are eligible to apply.
- 2 scholarships can be awarded within each annual membership cycle (Jan – Dec).
- If awarded the scholarship the cost of the applicant’s new member dues for the current membership cycle (Jan. – Dec.) will be waived.
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Winners who are approved Oct-Dec will include membership for the next membership cycle.
- If both scholarships have already been awarded for the current membership cycle, applications can be kept on file for consideration at the next membership cycle.
- At the next membership renewal cycle the scholarship winner will be responsible for annual dues in order to retain their ADPA membership and all benefits.
- Winners will be required to submit a brief bio and photo within 1 month (in time for next BT publication) of benefits activation.
