Randy Wilder Award – Casey Coy

Casey Coy exemplifies the spirit of the Randy Wilder Award through his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to lifting others up. A true dive professional, Casey’s blend of technical expertise, curiosity, and innovative thinking has elevated the Florida Aquarium’s dive program and inspired those fortunate enough to learn from him. As a mentor and friend, he leads with compassion and patience—sharing his knowledge freely and fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and teamwork. Casey’s thoughtful leadership and genuine kindness reflect the best of what it means to serve both people and the ocean with integrity and purpose.
Distinguished Service Award – Andrew Solomon
Andrew Solomon received recognition at the 2025 ADPA Annual Symposium for his distinguished achievement as President of the Association of Dive Program Administrators from 2024 to 2025. During his time, Andrew has led the development and completion of our first ever Ed Harper Instructor Development Scholarship, provided written and oral comments to the Cal-OSHA Standards Board regarding the proposed modifications to Technical Diving standards, supported the establishment of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences’ Accreditation Team, led the review and revision of all ADPA Committee Charters, brought to the finish line all standing action items of ADPA Board work from as far back as 2019, served as AZA Aquarium Safety Example Practices Subcommittee Lead, and led the ADPA in so, so many more ways. During his tenure as ADPA President, and over the past 8 years, Andrew has not only demonstrated consummate professionalism, but also incredibly dedicated work ethic in the advancement of his Association, fellow ADPA members, and members of our broader zoo and aquarium as well as diving community. The ADPA is honored to recognize such a distinguished individual among our ranks, who has quietly looked after our community in so many ways, helping us to not only grow, but also to thrive.
