It is with great excitement that the Symposium Committee would like to announce that ADPA will be hosting our 2023 Symposium at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on MONDAY, November 13th!
DEMA will also be in New Orleans, taking place from Tuesday November 14th through Friday, November 17th. The Symposium will be followed by the Networking Event. Stay tuned for updates on the location of the Networking Event!
Plan on Symposium and Networking event registration fees costing $250-300 per person. Registration for the Symposium opens on September 1st. In addition to the in-person Symposium and Networking Event, a hands-on Training Day will be held on Sunday, November 12th. Keep an eye out on the Symposium 2023 – ADPA website, the Listserv, and the next issue of Bottom Times for more details about the itinerary, location, pricing, and registration.

Also, for the first time, we have a limited ADPA exclusive Hotel Room block available from November 11th to November 17th at the Blake Hotel New Orleans (500 St Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130). There will be 20 rooms available at a price of $129 a night, plus taxes and fees. In order to receive this rate you must stay a minimum of 3 nights at the Blake. If you would like to book within this room block, please call (504) 522-9000 and mention the ADPA group block. To book online use this link when making your reservations. Reservations must be booked by October 1st to receive the room block rate. The ADPA is not responsible nor liable for any fees incurred through your booking through the hotel.
We are looking for members interested in speaking at the Symposium. If you have a topic in mind, please complete the Speaker Request PDF form using the following link: Symposium 2023 – ADPA by August 1st. If you are unsure of a topic or wish to discuss your talk before submitting, please contact Halle Minshall- ADPA Secretary (hminshall@bhwk.com). All speakers will receive a $25 discount on Symposium Registration fees. The Symposium page will be updated with Symposium details through the summer and up until the event.
